أهلاً و سهلاً
Welcome
ALEX SEIF
Software Architect & NGO Technical Partner
I've spent 20 years solving the problems that come before the code — understanding what's actually needed, designing how it fits together, and building systems that survive contact with reality.
Air-gapped government ministries. National payment gateways. Tourism platforms that became the market reference. Ministry-level scheduling infrastructure under distributed load. Whatever you're building, I've probably worked in harder constraints.

What I Actually Do
Most people come to me with one of three problems:
They need to build something that doesn't exist yet.
I collect the requirements — from whoever is in the room — map what currently exists, design the database and APIs, and specify the infrastructure before a line of code is written.
They have something that works but can't scale, change, or be touched.
I've migrated national-scale legacy systems without downtime, refactored catastrophic queries to sub-second response, and decoupled monoliths under live production traffic.
They need someone to own the technical function, not just advise on it.
For NGOs and organizations without a technical lead, I operate as an embedded partner — architecture, vendor oversight, team capability building, and quarterly reviews.
What I don't do: run your QA. I'll design the test strategy and define what coverage looks like. Someone else executes it.
FOR NGOs SPECIFICALLY
You have a transparency platform, a donor portal, or a data system that was built by whoever was available at the time. It works until it doesn't. Nobody owns it technically.
I've worked with international NGOs reporting to UN, GIZ, and EU institutional donors. I understand data sovereignty, multilingual requirements, geographic data visualization, and the reality that your budget isn't elastic.
I offer retainer-based technical partnership — not a project quote, not a consultancy firm. One person who knows your system and is reachable when it matters.
Architecture & Strategy
Fractional technical leadership to design decoupled architectures, define robust API boundaries, and establish scalable engineering roadmaps.
Vendor & Delivery Oversight
Independent technical auditing of third-party agencies, enforcing code quality, and ensuring business requirements translate into working infrastructure.
Legacy Infrastructure Rescue
Remediation of sluggish, undocumented legacy monoliths. Structuring zero-downtime migrations and eliminating critical race conditions.
Knowledge Transfer
Mentoring internal teams, establishing deterministic Git workflows, and mitigating key-person risks across your engineering organization.

Path Discoveryتَعَارُف المَسَار
True dominion over your infrastructure requires a partner رَفِيق.
This discovery phase is not a pitch—it is a deliberate extraction of your ultimate objectives. Together, we isolate the friction and expose hidden leverage.
My mandate is to ensure your machine serves your empire. Because the shortest path between vision and reality is a guided ascent.
